CPD Compliance
Who has to undertake CPD?
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) must be undertaken by all Graduate, Provisional Associate, Provisional, Associate, Fellow and practising Life Fellow members. The requirements are detailed in the API By-Laws.
What can and cannot be claimed?
The CPD Compliance Committee in Queensland has created a document giving further guidance on what is and what is not acceptable for CPD points. This article applies to all members required to complete CPD. To read the article click here.
Important Information Relating to Changes for CPD Compliance
Members are reminded that starting 1 January 2011, "carry forward" points are no longer permitted. As a result, all Members commence the 2011 CPD year and each subsequent year with zero (0) CPD points.
