EXPERIENCED VALUER

After an 18 year absence from Brisbane, during which time I have established and conducted a successful regional valuation practice, I have returned and now seek a part or full time position within the profession.

I am a:

  • Fellow of the Australian Property Institute
  • Certified Practising Valuer
  • Registered in both NSW & QLD

Prior to establishing the practice of John Logan & Associates – Gympie I was a Brisbane based commercial valuer employed by Jones Lang Wootton, Chesterton International and Hillier Parker over a ten year period.

In addition to the management role of operating a valuation practice I have extensive experience in all facets of valuation including residential  mortgage valuations and the use of systems such as ValPro, Valex, VMS, RPData and PDS . I have been responsible for all commercial/development type valuations, albeit on a smaller scale than experienced in Brisbane, but often with limited local market evidence which has required that I have a sound knowledge of the broader market.

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST: ASSISTANT VALUER/RECEPTION/WORK EXPERIENCE

I am seeking part time employment in areas from South Brisbane – Tweed Coast within a valuation firm as an assistant valuer, receptionist or office administrator.  I am also willing to volunteer my time in exchange for any work experience a company is able to give me in the valuation field while I am currently searching for a new position.

I have six years experience in the Real Estate industry and have worked in various roles including reception, office administration and the position of personal assistant for the company’s top sales person.  I have also gained general bookkeeping and accounting experience through the management of my husband’s plumbing business.

My pervious Real Estate experience led to my interest in property valuation and consequently I commenced a Bachelor of Property at CQ University.  I am presently maintaining a GPA of 6.2 in the program and expect to graduate in October 2012.

I have a passion for all aspects of life and have enthusiasm for my work while always striving to achieve excellent results.  I am extremely self-motivated with a keen willingness to learn and feel that I would be a valuable asset to any company.

Seeking a position as an Assistant Valuer

I am about to move back to Queensland and I am looking for a position as an Assistant Valuer. I have a Business Degree and a Graduate Diploma in property valuation from Massey University in New Zealand. These qualifications are recognised in Australia.

I am a mature and professional person who has a wide range of work experience and I am very keen to gain some experience in property valuation. Although I will be located in Southern Brisbane/Gold Coast I am flexible as to where in Queensland I can work and when I can commence work.
